Omaggio a Elio Bona
Wolrds / Visions of the future
January 15 – April 3, 2022 Diego Asperges solo exhibition The art exhibition “Worlds” materialises an outer vision instructed by elements both of reality and imagination. These elements sink their roots into important concempts such as sustainability and awareness of the current and evolutionary planet stages. “Worlds” revolves around this question: “Has the current physical Earth condition been ascribed to the extreme exploitation of the planet resources or to the cyclic nature of the Earth physical alteration as it happened in previous ages?”. The artist creates his art pieces pushed by this dilemma throughout a dreamlike journey, fully releasing his expressive talent. The doable scenario that crosses the timeline from past to future has multiple facets that turn into the multiple terrestrial and alien globes wisely depicted by Asperges. Enigmatic dumb monoliths rise above the scene, driving the spectator throughout an immersive path of the artist’ world. Planet systems seem to be sustained by a precarious balance, they fluctuate, they brush against each other, they light up reverberating their inner energy. These planet systems interchange with black holes which are gates used to cross space and time wall and to enter a parallel world in order to discover its peculiarities. ARTIST BIOGRAPHY Diego Asperges was...

Levitating / Sospensioni
Levitating / Suspensions
October 30 – December 19 2021 Francesco Damiani solo exhibition The organic sculptures of Francesco Damiani stretch out towards the space creating a dialogue with the spectator. The ensemble of full and empty volumes tells a story, it tells both intimate and far tales. The abstraction of the subject shapes itself and goes beyond itself, the lines become words, the geometry becomes paragraphs reorganised into personal diaries. The sculpture comes out of the idea of its static nature and heaviness to turn into light suspensions, made by modules that dovetail and reverberate each other, modifying themselves in time and space. The used materials are playful in their colours and textures as they are experienced by our sight and touch. They evoke our childhood. The artist uses a large amount of cellulose and rubber dough, the “light clay” employed by children in Orient to achieve familiarity with clay. Damiani uses secondary shades to represent light through its refraction. Colours, which are the result of a perceptual illusion, grab the contemporary world vibrations and they infuse its tremor. ...
